Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TidyCents, including the Money Leak Score, TidyBudget, TidyExpenses, TidyEnvelopes, Budget Plan Agent, Money Reset, printables, worksheets, and any other mini-app, tool, or content offered under the TidyCents brand (together, the "Tools"). By using the Tools or subscribing to the TidyCents letter, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Tools are

The Tools are personal, self-serve mini-apps and printables designed to help you organize and understand your own household finances. Most Tools run entirely in your browser or as a downloadable file, and are not connected to any bank, financial institution, or payment network. Nothing in the Tools constitutes financial, tax, legal, or investment advice — see Section 5.

2. Free tools and lead magnets

Some Tools, including the Money Leak Score, Money Reset, printables, and worksheets, are provided free of charge in exchange for your email address. These are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Paid tools

Some Tools (for example TidyBudget, TidyExpenses, TidyEnvelopes, and Budget Plan Agent) are sold as a one-time purchase. Unless stated otherwise at checkout:

• You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased Tool for your own household or personal use.
• You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share purchased files or access with anyone outside your own household.
• You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or repackage a Tool for commercial redistribution.
• Refunds, where offered, follow the policy stated on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.

4. Your account and data

Most Tools do not require an account and do not upload the financial figures you enter — those stay on your own device. Where we do collect information (such as your email address for the newsletter or a free tool delivery), it is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Not financial advice

TidyCents makes personal tools for tracking your own money. Nothing provided through the Tools, the TidyCents letter, or any related content is professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it should not be relied on as such. You are solely responsible for the financial decisions you make. If you need advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Tools — including attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer for competing commercial purposes, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Tools or the systems behind them.

7. Intellectual property

The Tools, their design, code, copy, and branding are the property of Applings Studio / DMT STUDIO unless otherwise noted, and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Purchasing or using a Tool gives you a license to use it as described in these Terms — it does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights to you.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Applings Studio and DMT STUDIO are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Tools — including financial decisions made based on their output.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Tools after a change means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
